I've Seen All the Lights
Aug. 10th, 2008 10:39 pmNo lessons today, so the teachers planned us a trip to Stratford and Cadbury World in Birmingham.

went for a tour around the birthplace of Shakespeare. The entire town was quite quaint, with the shops' names being puns from Shakespeare's plays or quotes. Absolutely delightful place to be. :D
Bought some touristy things from the shops, as we later followed our tour guide around the streets. Lunch was the traditional fish and chips which was pretty good, except for the peas. Green diarrhea. =_= Just plain ew.
Cadbury World seemed like quite a waste of money to me, because... even though I do like chocolate, I'm not that obsessed that I have to know how the brand Cadbury grew to fame or how cocoa was brought from tropical islands to the West. >.> But anyway, it was still pretty fun, although too hurried. That's the bad thing about travelling with other people... you must stick to a bloody schedule. Bah. They gave us bars of chocolate and this cup of pure chocolate. I nearly died from the sweetness in that liquid chocolate, it was just so rich and after a while, it gets really disgusting because... you can't stand it anymore.
Bought chocolates for the rest of the class at the gift shop. Because food is the easiest thing to give. Haha. This shows our lack of creativity, I guess. I also got some for my family because after all, it's not everyday that you get to see all these different types and flavors of chocolate, so why not try all the new stuff?
