rxelynSpent 20.45 pounds at Tesco. A supermarket bigger than Giant. Like omfg lah. Cos... it's a supermarket after all. =_= But it was so huge that the hour and a half that they give us to shop wasn't enough!!!
In the end, I bought like, a book, 2 shirts for my brothers, coffee and preserved olives for my mother and a bottle of shower gel that smelled really nice. And all these cost me 20 pounds. Like, what??!
Watched film adaptations of Othello during lesson today, I really loved the Lawrence Fishburne version. But I somehow couldn't reconcile him as Othello, kept thinking of him as Morpheus and was wondering when the kickassery would start. Lol. Yeah, he does look really kick ass though. The black and white version was just plain bad. It was too exaggerated and the actors in the show was so stiff that I cringed. And there were too much emphasis on the thematic content and too little sematics explored. Sure, it was pretty cool that the director made use of so much symbolism like the casting of light on the actors during appropriate moments, the use of music to create a tense mood, the camera angles to show Othello's growing confusion and subsequent loss of sanity. But it was too much. And that killed the movie already.
But talking about film techniques kind of made me feel like making my own movie... with a proper cast and screenplay and music and effects. Haha, anyone want to collaborate with me? XD
Camped outside our rooms and took a picture with the actor playing Cassio! XD Sherilyn and Sofia was sooo excited while I was made to camwhore by Sneha. >.> No, I don't camwhore on a regular basis, hence my lack of creative poses.
