Take Me Out

rxelynHaven't been updating much recently, maybe since nothing noteworthy really happened.
Well, there was Saturday in which my laptop was hijacked by my cousin for the better part of the afternoon till late at night as the whole bunch of relatives came down over for my nephew's one-month. I have no idea why the heck they were holding it at my house because hello? we are not the parents of the kid?! Hell, most likely came over to our place because they don't need to clear up after the whole shebang. Anyway, it seems that I cannot escape idol references in my life. This nephew is named Andreas. =_= (That's a TH reference) and his older brother has the same birthday as Miyavi, 14 Sept. Gah. But whatever, I still cannot stand whiny kids that cry at the drop of a hat. Even though I was one of those brats, but still.
Anyway, finally got off my butt and attended one of the practice sessions at Siglap South. Which meant travelling from one side of the island to the other. Okay, some of us have it worse but their parents have cars... Yeah, found myself terribly lost because I didn't bother to learn anything before showing up. Smart move, really. Ended up learning on the fly, by listening to people around me. Wished greatly that I was still a frigging soprano. Haha. But yeah, I must say my improvisation skills aren't that bad. :D Managed not to embarrass myself or the others. But I think I must have come off as super unreliable because both Yoke Cheng and Swee Hao have to like arrange to meet with me at Bedok so I won't get lost. I'm not irritated, instead I'm mortified inside... am I really that unreliable? D:
Yeah, so that was my weekend. Today was fun as well! Went over to Jaswin's house with a whole bunch of the others from the class. Sherilyn and Min Jie took horribly incriminating pictures of our Twister game (to blackmail us with.) and I listened to a ton of Indian music, (my favourite is Gore Gore. The MV was hilarious. I bet the guy in it would have turned gay just to avoid the scary females. XD)
So there's a meet up with Faza this week to look forward to. And one with the clique, either on Thursday on Saturday, depending on them.
