Minor Heaven by Tarja Turunen
She completely destroyed one of my favourite rock songs... her cover of Alice Cooper's Poison was sorely disappointing. Her voice was not suitable for that particular song, I guess. But I do like her style, the opening especially. But the chorus... ah... a bit overdone or something.
Currently, I adore adore adore Minor Heaven and Lost Northern Star. Of course, her first single, I Walk Alone was brilliant. And I like her upcoming second single, Die Alive. The other songs were decent, but somehow I don't exactly like them.
I didn't finish O.R. Meiling's newest title, The Light Bearer's Daughter. Too... boring or something, but I really couldn't get my interest peaked as compared to her previous two books. But as for teenage contemporary fantasy stories goes, Holly Black's Faerie series are the best. But I like Meiling's books due to the usage of the Irish language. It's really fascinating, the difference in how the word looks and how it's actually pronounced. And she has this really neat glossary at the back to translate all the Irish words she used into English. Sometimes, there will also be little songs or poems which is just too neat. *adds Irish to a list of languages I wanna learn*
I still haven't handed in my PI. *gets bricked by the ST* Is a failure at life.
Also, my Maths tutorial 1 on Functions are still blank and shall remain untouched until eternity goes
Like always, my Literature is also undone because I overestimate myself by thinking about how long the breaks are for tomorrow.
Oh yeah... and my weekly Sugar Rushes are still missing too... >.>
