rxelynIt's 5 plus over here, woke up at the crack of dawn due to the sniffles. Which I'm afraid will wake Sherilyn up. Anyway, Just a quick update to say the usual, that I'm alive and such.
Considerable long day, since I'm the sort of person who judges time by the sun in the sky. Lol, primitive way, but yeah. So I have been awake since 4 early yesterday morning. Couldn't update yesterday due to the faulty internet broadband plug or whatever. Yeah, the flight was alright, though sleeping was pretty uncomfortable and I didn't dare to squirm too much in fear of jostling Sofia awake since Sneha apparently did by elbowing her several times.
The scenery here is simply amazing, lots of old Gothic influenced structures combined with modernity, very unique. And so my style. It's quite rainy though, so our tours to town and Girton college (where we are living and studying in) was quite short. And I'll probably get lost if I wander around alone. For now, I only know how to get to certain places, and if you throw me a different route, I'll probably take ages to find the place. Because the corridors all freaking look the same, except for the different paintings hung up on the walls. That's how I locate things currently, by the paintings. Haha.
Things here are actually not too expensive if you're a native, but if you convert the price back to our currency, it's a bit... distracting. But our dinner here was good, I had pasta and dessert and finally got to try Dr. Pepper. Which was overrated in those fiction that I read. It's just like Coke... =_= And the pastry we had in town was good, though too big for one sitting. It remains half eaten on my dresser. I think I'll just eat it for lunch later and not the bread that the four of us bought as lunch yesterday.
We're going to start lessons today, and I have no idea what's required of me. Lol. What am I doing here for? *is a dork*
