Hibernation
Nov. 9th, 2008 06:34 pmIf you come across a short girl with tousled hair and sleepy/tiny eyes behind thick glasses, who had dressed so haphazardly it looked like she stole her younger brother's clothing and didn't give a hoot about her appearance, you most likely saw me. And incidentally, she always has loud music blaring out of her earphones.
Am knackered from the choir session, that I declined going shopping after choir and instead opted to take the fastest route home, which isn't exactly fast anyway. Only to find that my entire house is in a gigantic mess because my mother is preparing for the workers to come and re-paint the house. And now the flat is completely impossible to navigate around carelessly without getting a bruise somewhere. I never knew that we had so much books at home. Strike that, I didn't know we had so many junk lying around!
I don't know if it's the weather, but lately, I feel extremely tired. That even though I just woke up, I'm ready to fall back to sleep and not wake until the next thousand years or so. Think my body's preparing itself to hibernate and generally be lazy. Haha. Can this be a plausible excuse to skip everything? From annoying extra lessons to tiresome social gatherings.
Urgh, think I'll just crawl into my bed and call it a day. The weird Buddhist chanting from the funeral going on downstairs start fairly hypnotic. And I can feel my eyes beginning to droop.
