The Ideal Boyfriend?
I can't believe that I forgot about this, I mean, after Amirah told me that Zettai Kareshi is being subbed and all and I still forgot. Total fail. And just omfg lah, Soshi, or rather Mizushima Hiro (Nanba sempai in Hana Kimi) is so freaking hot. In fact, when I first saw him on screen, I thought it was Yasu of Janne de Arc and Acid Black Cherry fame. Which nearly killed me too. As compared, Hayami Mokomichi isn't as good looking, (if he seems familiar, he was Tsuchiya-kun from Gokusen II) but he's still the main lead, as Night. but if it does go according to the manga, I think Riiko ended up with Soshi in the end... not too sure, it's been quite a long time since I read the series. Shoujo was never my genre.
Anyway, the entire setting was the show was changed, from the a high school to a workplace. But I think it still works as well... Then we have the so-called nemesis, in which Mika is the bitch that tries to wreck Riiko's love life. There was this part in episode 1 where the cake delivery was delayed and we have Night running to Riiko's rescue. Looking like a FedEx commercial and also quite hot, though not as hot as Soshi...
Riiko's wishy washy attitude still annoys me greatly, but at least it wasn't as bad as in the manga, due to limitations from the show's producers, I think. And her hair.. >.> Seriously could do better.
I've only watched up to episode 2, subbed by SARS which you can be sure is of good quality. Even if the entire show's a flop, I think I'm still gonna watch it for Soshi! :3
