Random Things
Jul. 17th, 2008 11:41 pmYay, did my stupid eom. In like less than an hour. Because I only did it out obligations, just to like show her something... so she doesn't go around chasing me for my work. Nope, I don't really like the new PW teacher. She always look as if she smelled something bad... with her face all scrunched up. Blah.
There was supposed to be the choir workshop at 5 plus today. And maths tutorial was pushed forward to Tuesday because the H1 MT people had their listening comprehensions. So I basically had nothing to do from 12.45 to 5.30. Sharon was in the same situation too, but only because she willing wanted to stay behind. At first it was for NDP thing, but she changed her mind in the end. And we finished the stupid econs essay outline, basically just copying from the notes. >.>
But the choir practice was postponed to next week, yay! So decided to go with Min Jie, Sherilyn and Sharon to Orchard. Anyway, cutting the rest of irrelevant details where we crapped and window shopped around, because the nice things are usually NOT on discount.
We spent most of the time at Borders, I think. I wanted to get this Scott Cunningham book on Magical Aromatherapy which was only $11. But the stupid cover was torn! Blah. I could have gotten other books by Cunningham, but they were pricier and I was sort of broke... T_T Used the Borders Gift Card that Zhan Yu gave me (apparently there was $20 in the card) and bought a fantasy book, Hunter's Moon by David Devereux. And Min Jie had a Borders Priviledge Card so next time I can just borrow the card from her. XD That girl spent nearly a hundred bucks on her books. Scary. It'll be tough carrying them home, and that would have put me off buying the books until a further date.
Sneha was tremendously funny this morning, when we were discussing on what to write on Mr Chu and Mr Teo's Thank You cards. She was giving weird comments and generally just being amusing. Maybe it's the fact that the teachers are leaving that's making her high? Lol. Okay, the teachers weren't that bad. And I swear that that girl just has a fetish for pens. Which is so wrong. Lol, as Sofia and I pointed out. Cos we are lit students and can see beyond the literal. :D Yeah right, we were just being teenage girls. Haha.
PS: the word bouncy just sounds wrong. I don't care what you say. Lol.
